One of the things that I love about the five Rotary clubs on the peninsula is our desire to work together on local programs & projects. While we all do great things as individual clubs, it is when we all come together that we can make the largest impact here at home.
One of many such examples was on Saturday, September 30, 2017. The Semiahmoo, White Rock, Peace Arch, South Surrey & Peninsula Rotary clubs planted 160 trees at Green Timbers Forest. We had a blast!
Rotary International President Ian Riseley set a visionary goal for all rotarians to plant a tree during his term of office. That's 1.2 million trees worldwide, and we worked together to make it happen in our corner of the world.
