Semiahmoo Rotary Announces new partnership with Innovative Fitness as the major sponsor of the 27th annual Semiahmoo Rotary Golf Tournament to benefit the Peace Arch Hospital and Community Foundation and other community projects.

Stewart Peddemors, Semiahmoo Rotary Golf Tournament Chair, announced today that Curtis Christopherson, Principal, Innovative Fitness White Rock has agreed to form a partnership with Semiahmoo Rotary to join forces to run the annual Semiahmoo Rotary Golf Tournament in aid of the Peace Arch Hospital and Community Foundation and Rotary projects in our community.
Addressing the Semiahmoo Rotary meeting on February 18, 2016, Curtis said: "I have participated in the Semiahmoo Rotary annual golf tournament since 2006 and have always found it to be one of the best organized tournaments around. We at Innovative Fitness created our own golf tournament four years ago to benefit charities in the Peninsula but found that the organization was beyond the capabilities of a relatively small company. With Semiahmoo Rotary's 60+ members and 27 years of experience, it was a natural fit for us to come together and consolidate our mutual charitable efforts."
Stewart Peddemors said: "Curtis is no stranger to hard work in our community, for by serving as the Chair of the Peninsula Foundation and the Vintage Affair fundraiser, he has proven himself as a community-minded person. Combining our efforts to run a highly successful golf tournament will help us all meet our goal of raising funds to support our community. Together we anticipate that our Tournament will be a sold-out success. People should think about registering early to get a spot in the Tournament."
