A major fundraising effort was launched today by the community-based Friends of the Pier Fundraising Committee to cover a projected $2 million shortfall in funding to rebuild the entire pier following major storm damage that occurred in December, 2018. The Rotary Club of Semiahmoo (White Rock) is represented on the committee and will be facilitating the collection of the funds raised. Please go to friendsofthepier.com to learn more about the opportunity to contribute to the effort, and maybe even "own" part of the pier!
