Big Honking Cheque
The Bell rang at 7:16
President Doug (in a suit) called the meeting to order at 7:18 by enthusiastically ringing the bell.
O’Canada was sung
Doug’s Meditative Moment on Success and how amazing the Food Card Program has become.
Guests were invited to go for breakfast, Rotarians followed and a good breakfast was had by all.
Meeting began with introductions.
Barry won the draw for Queen of Hearts and lost the draw.
50/50 was won by Barry Middler AGAIN
Introduction to Past President Mary as she was asked to chair the meeting as this program began during her reign.
John Block and Ozzie took the podium and Ozzie got a standing ovation for her involvement in the program, initiating program and her promotion of the program within the club. He regaled us with vision, with commitment and with the ultimate success that far exceeded anyone’s expectations or dreams!!
David Young of Sources congratulated John on his commitment (obsession) to this program and its continuing legacy.
Mary presented a Paul Harris Fellow to Save On Foods President Darrell Jones!
President Darrell thanked Rotarians, John B and Ozzie, Raj and Bruce and Sources for their support of this program.
Mary B handed the program back to Doug who thanked everyone for coming.
