Update on Haiti and Duchity – Allan B – we sent $5000 down to help them with the latest Hurricane and how we are helping them and where the money is going.

The biggest threat is the internet – how can print media align with it’s readers?
PAN Best overall newspaper in North America in 2014 and best overall newspaper in BC 2015. Average over 40 flyers on a weekly basis.
5 local reporters – 20 Surrey reporters – 2.0 million dollars of local editorial power.
Last year PAN contributed $400000 worth of In kind advertising support.
Pan has over 400 dedicated carriers.
Black Press is a very innovative company that has a very engaged on-line community.
The community will determine the future of the newspaper.
Paul Harris nominations: Victoria nominated Robin and Mei Harper – John Block nominated Rowena from the Food Bank
Club voted and decided both parties to be presented with Paul Harris Fellowes Nov 24 at the evening club meeting.
