Rotary Notes Nov 17, 2016
Meeting started before I did so now catching up.
Doug Blender started meeting with OCanada and a video accompaniment from Remembrance Day.
Rod Thompson did the Rotary moment on the Foundation  - and the take away was don’t say that you give to the Foundation but better to say “I give through the Foundation to help people that are in need.” (Some literary license here as I forgot the specific wording).
50/50 draw was won.
Five students for Yail have applied.
Happy bucks.
Bruce is now on Facebook and shared an amazing story.
Sign up sheet for the kettle project at the front.
Gift slips for Atira – donations for the food hampers and gifts – due back Dec 8 and then the gift wrapping program Dec 18. Also, putting together health and wellness packages.
Judy announced the Night of Hope and the tour of Christmas houses.
Paul Harris Fellowes dinner next Thursday night at 6pm – please RSVP to Judy M so we can get numbers for catering.
