Stewart P announced that Sip and Savour made $41000 so $12000 is committed to the WRSS Hospice Society from the two Rotary clubs, the rest will be divided and go into the Rotary coffers.
Happy dollars sad dollars
Kathy and Beth spoke to the Christmas hampers – 69 families that we are caring for. Wrapping at Ozzie’s place Dec 18 at 2325 134 Street at 10am – 12 – delivery at 1:00 for that day. Looking for volunteers.
Doug B spoke to the Salvation Army Christmas Kettle – all spots filled in – if someone can make it Sandy W offered to fill in in a pinch.
Polar Bear Swim – Kathy organizing – need 4 volunteers to man the Rotary tent at the event
Rotary Christmas Breakfast is Dec 15 – bring a wrapped gift in the value of $20
Second reading for Stan Carter – John, Stan and Colin L became the Three Amigos and went on to do various fund raising. Now that he is retired he is enthusiastic and motivated to go on to be involved with Charity work and specifically Rotary.
Inductions for Linda and Stan – with Janine and John as sponsors (they got sponsor pins).
Sandy made an announcement on behalf of a newly formed committee. Hoping to have the final draft done for Jan. Please review and offer feedback.
