Mary opened the meeting with a rendition of “When I’m 64”
In honour of Bill’s 64th Birthday and our guest and our speaker
Charlotte Morton spoke to “Why Rotary” and the “Meditative Moment”.
Sgt. Of Arms Larry started us off with a Happy Birthday to all Rotarians
50 50 draw for $30 which Charlotte won
Queen of Hearts $195 Scott E drew the 10 of clubs

Auction of the Bird House for $64 to Bill Brooks for his 64th
Happy dollars
Kirk M and Janet S spoke to wine and dine – ½ of the tickets are sold. Secured all 12 restaurants. Need $4000 in sponsorship funding. Kirk tried out the trolley system. Refocus is a dining event as opposed to a “wining” event. 12 restaurants involved. 41 people needed to man the various roles for this event. Looking for a new committee member to help go to restaurants, run through the food, get signatures.

Sandra Lewis – spoke to her book “Lovingly Arrogant” and read an excerpt from it.
