Hospice Hoe Down Fundraisder for the Hospice Society July 22 – tables of 8 can be reserved
$60 a ticket
Many thanks to all the exceptionally hard workers there were at the golf tournament – especially Linda W and Eric. 
Kudos to the installation was super fun – band was fanatastic, food was excellent (including the pig), weather couldn’t be better and the company was superb!
Ana Marie did her second reading – she is delightful

Mary covered highlights of the past year
    Updated club bylaws after 28 years - 20000
    3 wonderful great fundraisers - Sip & Savour, Wine & Dine – new and improved thanks to Kirk M $16000
    Golf Tournament – new and improved – sold out - $60000 +/- 
    5 students to Ryla, 5 sent to Yail, Nico here for the year – 2 $1500 scholarships to Elgin students
    Youth - Sassy Awards – great show, amazing nominations honouring the youth in our community – 7 of which won scholarships
    International - $7500 went to new ambulance to my shanti in Uganda
    2 $5000 projects in Hati 
    Community Service – Christmas baskets, donated to cancer drivers $6400 - 5 club initatiaves – polar bear swim, 5 club pancake breakfast, Terry Parr plaza upgrade, 
    Vocational – fellowship and networking, mini libraries – thanks Barry M, , Blue Frog social
    $20000 donation to WRSS Hospice Society for their new building 
    Peace Arch Hospital Foundation - $75000 commitment to them over next 5 years
    Rotary Foundation club totals this year – over $23000 to the annual giving fund
    Save On Food Card Program – raised $64000 for the food bank – over $400000 sold in food cards – 4 times as much as our original goal of $100000 sold – a wonderful – ongoing initiative
