The first ever Semiahmoo Rotary Club Member Re-Union was held at the Rotary Fieldhouse on Rotary Way in the South Surrey Athletic Park on Thursday evening attended by 51 current and past members. As President Mary Brunet said: "We wanted to extend a hand out to our past members who may have left for family or business reasons, to let them know that we still think about them, miss them and wish that they were with us again." "In fact", Mary said, "we would love to have you come back!"

 

What took us so long to hold a re-union of past members? "Although we have been 27 years as a Rotary Club we are just so busy", said Janine MacLean, Membership Committee Co-Chair, "it even took us a year to pull this evening together."
